The board of trustees of the Northern Christian Religious Leaders Assembly, Nigeria, has announced the appointment of Suleiman Bogoro and Pauline Tallen as its grand patron and grand matron, respectively.

The announcement was made in a statement jointly signed by Archbishop John Praise, national chairman, and Reverend Simon Dolly, general secretary, on Tuesday.

Mr Bogoro, former executive secretary of TETFund, and Ms Tallen, former minister of women affairs, both accepted their new roles.

As grand patron, Mr Bogoro will provide fatherly wisdom, spiritual guidance, and moral oversight to strengthen the assembly’s mission to uphold peace, justice, and righteousness across Northern Nigeria.

As grand matron, Ms Tallen will offer motherly counsel, advocate for women and youth within the Body of Christ, and promote reconciliation, peace, and national unity.

Their combined experience in governance, education, ministry, and nation-building will greatly support the assembly’s leadership.

The formal investiture ceremony is scheduled for October 2 at Dominion Chapel International Church, Area 1, Garki, Abuja.
