NPFL: Kwara United brace up for 2nd stanza, wallop Young Talent 5-0

Kwara United FC are leaving no stone unturned as they gear up for the second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
The league is scheduled to start on January 25 nationwide.
In a friendly match played on Saturday at the Kwara Stadium Complex, Ilorin, the NPFL side delivered a dominant performance, defeating Young Talent of Ogbondoroko 5-0.
Shola AbdulRaheem netted a brace, with newcomer Wasiu Jimoh and Abdullahi Ojifini each contributing a goal to secure the emphatic victory.
Head Coach Tunde Sanni urged his players to remain mentally and physically prepared for the challenges ahead.
He emphasised the need to stay focused and avoid distractions that could derail their progress.
Kwara United are set to kick off their second-stanza campaign with a home game against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Sunday at the Kwara State Stadium Complex.
The match is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. and fans are encouraged to come out en masse in support of the team.
Meanwhile, the club hinted at having additional new players with details expected to be made public soon.
These reinforcements are anticipated to bolster the squad as they aim for a strong showing in the remainder of the league.
