Odigie reappointed as Bendel Insurance’s Technical Director

The deputy governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, has approved the reappointment of Monday Odigie as the Technical Director of the Bendel Insurance FC club.
Mr Odigie’s reappointment was announced in a statement Wednesday by the club’s Media Officer, Kehinde Osagiede.
According to the statement, Odigie’s reappointment received the approval of the state deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, after the club’s exit from the AITEO Cup.
The statement noted that Odigie had assumed duty since July 12 as the Technical Director of the Edo government-owned club.
Mr Odigie led Insurance to the Nigeria Professional Football League in 2019, after two seasons as the club’s Technical Manager.
According to the management of the club, Odigie’s return will strengthen the team’s technical department.
Benard Ogbe and Greg Ikhenoba remain the club’s Chief Coach and Assistant Coach, respectively.
