The Olubadan-designate, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, has promised to find time to personally watch all Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) home matches at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State.

Mr Ladoja gave the promise when the club’s Chairman, Taiwo Lekan-Salami, led players and other management staff to pay a courtesy visit to the royal father at his Ibadan residence  on Thursday.

The Olubadan-designate described 3SC as a unifying organisation for Ibadanland and one of the good identities of Yoruba race.

He also assured the team of more private sector investments in the club to complement government financing.

He stated, “I will personally visit the stadium to watch your home matches to encourage you, because you are not only representing Ibadanland, but entire Yoruba race.’’

In his remarks, the Chairman of 3SC, Mr Lekan-Salami, said that words of encouragement and promises made by the Olubadan-designate to personally watch the team games would serve as great motivation for the players.

He added, “With royal blessings that we just received, we believe 3SC will return to winning ways. Our fans should expect good performance from their darling team.’’
