Ondo APC support group kicks off ward tour for Tinubu’s re-election

A political support group, BTO4PBAT27, has kicked off its first phase of ward tour in the Okitipupa, Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, to intensify grassroots mobilisation in support of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The ward tour, organised by the support group, was aimed at consolidating support for Mr Tinubu’s re-election while deepening political participation and stakeholder engagement at the community level.
The initiative was being coordinated under the leadership of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Speaking at the flag-off of the programme on Thursday in Okitipupa, in the Okitipupa LGA Coordinator of the group, Olalekan Akindehin, urged party members and supporters to remain steadfast in promoting the policies, achievements and vision of Mr Tinubu at the grassroots.
Mr Akindehin emphasised that unity, consistency and sustained engagement with the people were critical to ensuring the successful implementation and acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Also, the Publicity Secretary of the group, Gbenga Adewunmi-Folajimi, urged ward coordinators to demonstrate leadership beyond their official designations by actively mobilising members and convening regular ward meetings to sustain community participation.
In his remarks, the Director-General of the group, Adesuyi Adojutelegan, called on members to remain united, politically active and committed to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots.
He also enjoined members of the group to formally register with APC to consolidate the party’s base ahead of future electoral engagements.
He said, “In a bid to underscore growing grassroots enthusiasm, the group ward tour will continue in other local council areas across the state.”
As part of efforts to strengthen the party, Mr Adojutelegan announced the donation of N1 million to the APC in the council area to boost ongoing membership registration and mobilisation activities.
The event recorded a large turnout of party members, ward coordinators and supporters.
