The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Yakubu Pam, on Sunday said prayer was the only solution to ending insecurity across Nigeria.

“The answer to the challenges we face in our nation is prayer; which is the only hope for our country.

“Through prayers we can overcome fighting, robbery and internet crime which seem to have become the order of the day,’’ Mr Pam said.

He enjoined Christians to pray for peace and stability in Nigeria and in other parts of the world.

He made the call at a meeting with members of Christ Our Hope Prayer Group, Catholic Charismatic Renewal of Nigeria, St. Luke Parish, Kubwa, Abuja.

Mr Pam noted the prayers should also include all areas of conflict across the world, including that of Russia and Ukraine.

The executive secretary further commended the group for using prayer to intercede for the nation.
