The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Osun, Bola Oyebamiji, has expressed confidence in the party’s victory in the August 15 gubernatorial election.

Mr Oyebamiji, who expressed this optimism in a statement on Saturday in Lagos through his media adviser, Yusuf Abiola, dismissed what he described as sponsored propaganda and manipulative narratives from opposition parties.

Mr Oyebamiji, popularly known as AMBO, spoke on Friday while addressing party loyalists and supporters, urging them to remain focused and committed to securing victory at the polls.

He said the APC remained unshaken despite political distractions, stressing that the party was well-positioned to reclaim power in the state.

“Let me assure our supporters that victory is within reach. No amount of sponsored propaganda or opposition narratives will distract us from our focus.

“We remain steady, united, and committed to winning the forthcoming election.

“We are resolute and committed to victory. Let’s put our minds at rest, we will vote and we will win by the grace of God,” he said.

Mr Oyebamiji called on supporters to intensify mobilisation efforts, particularly by encouraging eligible voters to take advantage of the final hours of the ongoing voter registration exercise.

“I call on all party faithful to intensify mobilisation efforts at this crucial time.

“Every supporter should ensure full participation in the ongoing voter registration exercise, as every vote will count on election day.

“For those who have not registered to vote, please use the remaining time to do so before the exercise closes,” he added.

He commended a party chieftain, Francis Eniade, for the donation of campaign vehicles and motorcycles to the AMBO campaign council.

Mr Oyebamiji applauded Mr Eniade, a House of Representatives aspirant for Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin (IBO) Federal Constituency and founder of the Eniade Foundation, for his consistent support and commitment to the growth of the party.

He described the gesture as a demonstration of loyalty and dedication.

In his remarks, the Osun State APC chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, also lauded Mr Eniade’s contributions, noting that his foundation had continued to play a significant role in advancing the party’s cause.

Mr Lawal added that the party remained open to support from members and stakeholders willing to contribute to its success in the forthcoming election.

Responding, Mr Eniade expressed gratitude for the opportunity to support the campaign and pledged continued assistance.

He said his foundation would sustain empowerment initiatives across the constituency.

Party leaders, stakeholders, and former office holders attended the event and reiterated their commitment to the APC’s victory.
