#OsunDecides: APC agents buy votes in Ejigbo for N3,000

Agents working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) have resorted to financial inducement of voters in an attempt to retain Gboyega Oyetola as Osun governor.
At Ejigbo local government polling unit 04, ward 02, several voters were sighted making secret signals at the APC agents before casting their voting.
The agents in turn signalled complicit security officers to follow the voter to the polling booth to ensure that their party was thumb printed.
Voters were each given N3,000 upon confirmation that the APC candidate was voted.
As at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, there were hundreds of disorganised voters waiting their turns to vote.
Peoples Gazette earlier reported how the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had also engaged in vote-buying to secure the ticket for their candidate, Ademola Adeleke.
Senator Adeleke had in 2018 lost to the incumbent governor.
The two major contenders of the Osun governorship race are APC’s Oyetola, the incumbent governor and Ademola Adeleke of the PDP.
