PCC offers free services for employee-employer dispute resolutions

The Public Complaints Commission has urged residents to take advantage of free services to resolve disputes with their employers in the federal, state, and local governments, as well as limited companies.
Emmanuel Muoka, PCC federal commissioner in Anambra, said in Awka on Saturday that the free services were part of its 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Mr Muoka said that the federal government should be appreciated for this commission while calling for more funding.
“The many cases we treat here end with the two parties embracing each other after an amicable settlement.
“I know more has to be done for the less privileged seeking justice in reaching us; this necessitates more funds for more awareness, and Nigerians to see that the government cares,” he said.
Mr Muoka called on residents to join in their mileage celebration, which would be a week-long event.
“We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary starting on the 16th of October with a church service at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Awka.
“It is a week-long event; residents should avail themselves of the chance to hear from us to know how we can help them or their loved ones,” he said.
