PDP extends sale of nomination forms by three days

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has extended the deadline for the purchase of its Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party’s spokesperson, Jungudo Mohammed, announced that the new deadline is now May 7, 2026, extending it by three days from the earlier date of May 4.
“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) hereby notifies its members and the general public that the deadline for the purchase of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms earlier scheduled to close on May 4, 2026, has been extended to May 7, 2026,” he said.
He said the deadline for the submission of completed forms remains May 9, 2026.
Mr Mohammed advised aspirants seeking elective positions under the party to take note of the new date and act accordingly.
