The police in Lagos have confirmed the death of a resident identified as Mr. Munero who died during a communal clash in Surulere, Lagos. He was alleged to be a serial killer.

The police also report arresting 12 suspects in connection with the clash between suspected thugs in Surulere on Saturday.

Lagos police spokesman, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said normalcy has been restored to the area after commissioner Hakeem Odumosu deployed more police officers to survey activities in Aguda, Surulere.

Deadly weapons were recovered from the suspects, which the police said would aid in their investigation.

”Arms and ammunition were recovered from the suspects who are helping the police in their investigation. We will still arrest more as we continue our investigation into the matter,” Mr. Adejobi said.
