He said the suspects, whose names were not mentioned, were arrested by operatives of the command’s anti-kidnapping unit, while on routine patrol.
Mr Ndirpaya said the suspects who confessed to being members of a kidnap syndicate met their waterloo while trying to kidnap two women within Kwali axis.
The command’s spokesman said efforts were being intensified to arrest other members of the syndicate.
He pledged the commitment of the command to ensure the security of lives and property within the FCT.
Criminals and kidnappers have been running riot around area councils in Nigeria’s capital territory.
