Police assure Kwara residents of adequate security during Easter celebration

The Commissioner of Police in Kwara, Tuesday Assayomo, has assured residents of adequate security before, during and after the Easter celebration.
This is contained in a statement by Ajayi Okasanmi, Police Public Relations Officer, and made available in Ilorin on Friday.
The statement said the command has activated all available critical security assets to ensure a hitch-free celebration.
Mr Okasanmi said the command has directed all Area Commanders, DPOs and Tactical Units to be alert throughout the period of the festivities.
The commissioner of police charged officers deployed for the exercise to be professional in the discharge of their duties, as no report of any security breaches would be tolerated.
