Police nab Kano man for murder, armed robbery
A 20-year-old suspect has been nabbed in connection with an alleged armed robbery and murder.
The suspect was apprehended at the scene by community members, who also helped recover the weapon used in committing the alleged crime.
According to a statement on Tuesday, the Kano police command on Monday at about 6:40 a.m. received a report that two suspected armed robbers attacked Shehu Muhammad, a resident of the Danbare area, with a cutlass.
”The police command assures the public of its commitment to maintaining law and order and bringing perpetrators to justice,” the statement said.
The command commended community members for their prompt response and appreciated the public’s support in maintaining peace and security in Kano.
