Police nab man with 419 bottles of codeine, 120 sachets of tramadol in Delta

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a man in possession of banned drugs.
The command’s Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe, disclosed this on Sunday on his official X handle.
Mr Edafe also attached with his post, a picture of the suspect and the banned substances found in his possession.
“Three hundred and seventy-five bottles of CSP codeine, forty-four bottles of CSC codeine, 120 sachets of tramadol 200mg, and 33 sachets of swinol capsules all recovered from one person,” he revealed.
Mr Edafe condemned greedy people who have the habit of dealing in banned and controlled drugs, which has been killing youths in the country.
The state’s police spokesperson therefore assured that the command would continue to go after others who are also into such acts.
