Ramadan, Lent: Lawmaker donates 2,400 bags of rice to two Nasarawa LGAs

The member representing the Awe/Doma/Keana federal constituency in the National Assembly, Abubakar Nalaraba, has distributed two trailer loads of 25kg bags of rice to the people of the Wamba and Akwanga local government areas of Nasarawa State in the spirit of Ramadan and Lent.
During the donation in the LGAs on Saturday, Mr Nalaraba said the gesture was to improve the lives of Christians and Muslims before, during, and after the Ramadan and Lenten seasons.
”We have selected five people in each polling unit across wards to benefit from the gesture,” he said.
The lawmaker said he had the capacity to govern the state, calling on the people of Wamba and Akwanga LGAs to pray and support his gubernatorial ambition come 2027.
He further urged the people to embrace the ongoing APC e-registration to enable them to vote for the APC come 2027.
Also speaking, Mr Nalaraba’s wife and majority leader of the Kaduna State House of Assembly, Munira Suleiman-Nalaraba, said her husband would bring speedy development to the state if elected governor in 2027.
She called on the people of Wamba and Wamba LGAs, as well as others, to support his gubernatorial ambition.
Also speaking were Jafter Magaji, APC chieftain; Theresa Taze, chairperson, Rindre Cultural and Development Association; AbdulRasheed Musa; Adamu Yamusa; Wama Ibrahim; and Yakubu Haruna, among others, who appreciated the lawmaker for having the people’s interests at heart.
