Afrobeats stars Rema, Davido, Shallipopi, and Burna Boy have topped Spotify’s Global Impact List for the first half of 2025.

The Global Impact List, released on Monday, features 30 hit songs that have gained massive traction outside Nigeria between January and June 2025, demonstrating how the artistes have crossed borders and connected people.

Spotify’s Head of Music for Sub-Saharan Africa, Phiona Okumu, stated that the list showcases the diversity, broad reach, and cultural influence of Nigerian music worldwide.

She stated, “This year’s Global Impact List is a testament to the vast range and international appeal of Nigerian music. We’re seeing both seasoned global talents and promising new artists making significant strides.”

Leading the list is Rema’s “Baby (Is It a Crime)”, the highest-exported Nigerian track of 2025 and currently sits at over 60 million streams on Spotify. Following closely is Shallipopi’s “Laho”, which got a massive reception after a short snippet went viral on social media, and now has over 50 million streams.

Davido comes in at No.3 with his smash hit “With You” featuring Omah Lay, pulling in over 50 million streams from his fifth studio album ‘5ive’. He also stands out as the only artiste with nine entries, all from the same album.

At No.4 is Chella’s breakout single “My Darling”, while Burna Boy rounds out the top five with “TaTaTa” featuring global hip-hop rapper Travis Scott. Burna Boy lands five tracks on the list overall.

Other breakout singles on the list include “Favour” by Lawrence Oyor, which stands out as the only gospel track. Ayra Starr also made an impressive mark with two entries, “All The Love” and “Gimme Dat” with Wizkid. Odumodublvck’s “Pity This Boy” with Victony wasn’t left out, alongside Asake’s “WHY LOVE” and Adekunle Gold’s “Obimo”.
