Remi Tinubu advocates for intense prayer to combat insecurity while moving in bulletproof cars, armed security

Nigeria’s first lady, Oluremi Tinubu, who safely moves around in bulletproof cars with a heavily armed security detail, has urged citizens to continuously pray for Nigeria to overcome insecurity ravaging several states.
“Let us intensify our prayers as it is prayers that would bring us out of this conundrum we find ourselves as a nation,” Mrs Tinubu said on her official X page on Monday.
The First Lady’s call for fervent prayers comes after the release of the Al-Kadriyar family from the kidnappers’ den in Abuja.
She commended security agencies for ensuring the victims’ release and urged them to put more effort into securing the country.
“Prayer works and I want to thank all Nigerians, especially mothers, for praying for the safe return of the Al-kadriyar sisters. Let us, however, not relent in our prayers.
“I commend our security agencies for their efforts and urge them not to relent in combating insecurity in our Nation,” Mrs Tinubu stated.
Five of the six sisters of the family who were kidnapped two weeks ago by terrorists in the Bwari area of Abuja finally regained their freedom on Saturday.
One of the six sisters had earlier been killed when the demanded ransom was yet unpaid.
