Reps speaker tasks Nigerian youths on entrepreneurship

The speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, has encouraged youths to pursue entrepreneurship, making Nigeria the business and employment hub of Africa.
Mr Abass gave this charge on Thursday in Abuja at the public presentation of “Recycling in Nigeria: How to Start and Run a Successful Recycling Business” by Terseer Ugbor (APC-Benue).
The speaker, represented by Sekav Iyortyom (APC-Benue), advised youths to explore starting meaningful businesses to become successful entrepreneurs like Aliko Dangote or Femi Otedola.
He emphasised that relying on monthly salaries would not lead to genuine billionaire status worldwide.
The speaker commended Mr Ugbor as a vibrant House member, sponsoring motions beneficial to Nigeria’s youths.
The House Committee on Environment chairman, Julius Pondi (PDP-Delta), commended Mr Ugbor’s efforts.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) George Akume, represented by his chief of staff, Chris Tarka, encouraged youths to read the book, create businesses and find beneficial opportunities.
