Rick Ross praises portable’s musical prowess

American rapper, William Leonard Roberts II, popularly known as Rick Ross, has hailed the musical talent of Nigerian street artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.
The rapper announced on his Instagram story that he wanted to “bring attention to Africa and all the amazing artistes. He thus mentioned “Portable from Nigeria, big much love” and “Odumodublvck from Nigeria.’’ He also mentioned other African artistes such as Uncle Waffles from South Africa and Harmonise from Tanzania.
After collaborating on a song with Portable, British artist Skepta, shared a video of Rick Ross mentioning Portable on his X page with the caption “shourrout!”
The 48-year-old artiste, Rick Ross, said he loves Africa and he has been “touring Africa for the last 15 years,” adding that he has been to “13 different countries.” He also said he loves the “food, the people, the culture, and fashion.”
