The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, Tony Okocha, has congratulated Senator Olaka Nwogu on his victory in the Rivers South-East senatorial district by-election held on Saturday.

Mr Okocha, in a congratulatory message signed and made available to journalists in Port Harcourt on Sunday, described Mr Nwogu’s victory as a clear endorsement of his integrity, leadership capacity, and commitment to public service.

He described the victory as a triumph for democracy and good governance, expressing confidence that Mr Nwogu’s experience would translate into effective representation and impactful legislation.

“We are confident that your wealth of experience will translate into effective representation, impactful legislation, and developmental strides for your people,” Mr Okocha stated.
