Sanwo-Olu, Hamzat sworn-in for second term as Lagos governor, deputy

Both men were sworn-in by the State Chief Judge, Kazeem Alogba, at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and his deputy, Obafemi Hamzat, have been sworn-in for a second term.

The governor, who wore a white Agbada and a purple cap, was sworn-in by the State Chief Judge, Kazeem Alogba, at about 11:35 a.m., on Monday, at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), while the deputy took his oath around 10:30 a.m.

Mr Sanwo-Olu got re-elected as governor after securing 762,134 votes in the March 18, governorship polls.
