Scammers are using Sound Sultan’s social media accounts to solicit funds: Widow

Sound Sultan’s widow Farida Fasasi says her late husband’s social media accounts have been hacked by scammers who are currently using it to solicit funds from people.
Ms. Fasasi posted a disclaimer via Instagram to alert possible soon-to-be victims of the recent development.
“Kindly disregard any communication from all @soundsultan’s social media accounts
The account has been hacked by scammers sending messages to innocent people to solicit funds” she captioned.
The late singer’s wife used the medium to again appreciate people for their immense support and also urged them to be watchful of cybercrime as it is at its peak lately.
“Let’s be watchful, cybercrime is at an all-time high. Thank you so much for your support all the way” she added.
Ms Fasasi proceeded to confirm the family has no control over Sound Sultan’s social media accounts at the moment and will inform the public once the accounts have been completely retrieved.
“Please the family has no control over the accounts, You would be informed when we have control over it,” Ms Fasasi stated.
