U.S. rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, serving time at the Fort Dix federal prison in New Jersey, is allegedly receiving extra treatment in prison, pampered with Chinese-style massages, men who cook, clean, make his bed, do his laundry, and using contraband items, including a phone and alcohol.

Four anonymous inmates who spent time in the same unit of a low-security correctional facility told NBC News that he allegedly said they witnessed how he spent thousands of dollars to bring his lifestyle to the prison.

One of the men said, “This is not some normal s— you see in jail. This is some rich s—. It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy.”

Other sources said that he uses a contraband phone to go on social media to view nude pictures and sexually explicit pictures from an old girlfriend. The shamed rapper also bought other inmates an antidepressant drug popularly known among inmates as Remeron, or “rem-roms”.

They also disclosed that on weekend nights he had a secret collection of alcohol which prison guards smuggled in and he shared it with a particular set of fellow inmates.

One of the men said he recounted drinking Hennessy with Mr Combs.

A Bureau of Prisons spokesperson said the agency does not interfere with a particular inmate’s conditions due to safety and security reasons.

“Like all correctional agencies, contraband, particularly cell phones, narcotics, and weapons, remains a constant challenge, and we continue to tackle the problem of contraband being introduced into our facilities,” said the spokesperson.

A spokesperson for Mr Combs said, “The continued scrutiny of every mundane detail of Sean Combs’s life in prison has reached the point where the media characterises ordinary prison life as news. The only real news is that Sean continues to serve his sentence while awaiting the court’s decision on his appeal.”

Aside from those privileges, sources said the rap mogul also has several inmates on his payroll, including a man who cleans the toilet and shower areas and men who secretly cook him special meals such as curry chicken, pizza, and empanadas.

One of the men said that they got tired of cooking meals for Mr Combs, and he started going to Jamaicans to cook for him.

They also alleged that they were inmates who held onto his phone and fan mail on his behalf.

NBC News also reported that the correctional facility has struggled with a contraband problem. It recently charged four individuals, including a current and former corrections officer, over an alleged scheme to smuggle knives, marijuana, and phones into the prison.

Mr Combs’ lawyers initially requested that he be sent to Fort Dix, particularly because of its drug-treatment programme, and sources said upon his arrival he quickly received a phone, alcohol, and inmates who worked for him.

“Pretty much the day he arrived, the party started,” one source said.

Similarly, Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, while he was at Rikers Island jail in New York, was held in a private room with access to his own phone, bathroom, and TV.
