Second Term: Sanwo-Olu inaugurates 22-member swearing-in committee

The Lagos government says it has set up a 22-member inauguration committee for the swearing-in ceremony of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat.
Information commissioner Gbenga Omotos said in a statement that the committee would coordinate the activities for the May 29 swearing-in ceremony of Messrs Sanwo-Olu and Hamzat.
Mr Omotoso explained that the chief of staff to the governor, Tayo Ayinde, was inaugurated as the committee chairman. A former education commissioner in the state, Saidat Oladunjoye, is the vice-chairman.
He said committee members would serve on various sub-committees to organise the inauguration.
Other committee members are the deputy chief of staff, Gboyega Soyannwo; Abayomi Oluyomi; Mr Omotoso; Aramide Adeyoye; Olawale Musa; Sukanmi Oyegbola; Bayo Ogunlana; A.W. Olarinmoye; Kolade Alabi; Bolaji Durojaiye; Tunde Onigbanjo; Adetoun Sanwo-Olu; Tejumade Lawal; Belinda Aderonke Odeneye; Kunle Fagbemi; Fola Hamzat; Simi Mosuro; Hakeem Shittu and Ayiri Oladunmoye.
“Mrs Adenike Akanbi will be the Secretary of the Committee, which also has the Special Adviser on Education, Mr Tokunbo Wahab, as well as Mr Bimbo Onabanjo, as members,” stated the commissioner.
Mr Omotoso said the committee had started work.
