Shettima in Enugu to inaugurate MSME hub, other projects

The Vice President, Kashim Shettima on Thursday arrived in Enugu State on an official visit, after his last official visit to the state on February 26.
Mr Shettima is in the state to inaugurate the Micro Small and Medium Enterprise Hub built by the Enugu State government.
He is also expected to inspect the MSME Clinic and Exhibition.
The official manifest showed that the vice president will also discuss with the exhibitors, Ministries, Departments and Agencies and the private sector partners during the visit.
Other activities to be performed by the visiting vice president are the inspection of Government House Command, Government House Digital Museum and International Conference Centre, Enugu under rehabilitation.
Recall that Mr Shettima on February 26 attended the South-East Business Roundtable and formal launch of the South-East phase of the Light up Nigeria Project.
The state governor, Peter Mbah, accompanied by other top government officials earlier welcomed Mr Shettima at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
The vice president’s current visit to Enugu State is the second since the inauguration of Mr Mbah as governor on May 29, 2023.
