Sultan advises Muslims to build mosques, says it paves way to paradise

The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar III, has urged Muslims to build mosques and continue to contribute their quota towards the development of Islam.
Mr Abubakar said this would facilitate unity, peace and progress among the Muslim Ummah and the country.
Sultan stated this on Friday at the official commissioning of Sulaiman Muhammad Juma’at Mosque in Argungu, Argungu Local Government Area of Kebbi.
He observed that no support was too small and none was too big for Islam, advising that the best support was done for Allah’s sake.
“Anyone who builds a mosque for prayers has established a road to paradise; I encourage every one of us to emulate this gigantic gesture,” he urged.
Mr Abubakar said Islam was known as a peaceful religion, advising that clerics should continue to preach and propagate peace and unity in their respective communities and in the entire nation.
The mosque was constructed by the national organising secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Suleiman Argungu.
Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi, APC national chairman and former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar-Ganduje, and other national party officials attended the commissioning.
