Synergy key to operational success, GOC tells security agencies

Abubakar Wase, the general officer commanding 1 Division, has reiterated the importance of synergy among security agencies and stakeholders in ensuring a peaceful and secure environment.

Mr Wase stated on Tuesday that he paid tripartite courtesy visits to the director of the State Security Services, the comptroller of the Nigerian Immigration Service, and the commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kaduna commands.

Mr Wase, who also serves as the commander of Sector 1, Joint Task Force, Operation Fansan Yamma, stated that synergy among the security agencies would enhance security in a joint operations environment.

The GOC pointed out that it was always part of the Nigerian Army’s non-kinetic initiative to cooperate and collaborate with other security agencies.

Mr Wase said that they were collaborating with the state government to ensure a peaceful and secure atmosphere in the state.
