The move followed a closed-door meeting with key stakeholders.
This was announced in an internal memo dated April 27, signed by the party’s national secretary, Dipo Olayoku.
He said that the party would adopt the consensus mode of election in all wards across the country.
The parties called for the removal of provisions that could undermine the credibility of the 2027 general elections.
The Media Rights Agenda on Tuesday commended the National Broadcasting Commission for issuing timely guidance to broadcasters ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.

The senator representing the Enugu West senatorial district, Osita Ngwu, described the endorsement as a collective decision.
The INEC chairman urged political parties not to see the draft regulations as a restriction, but as a safeguard.
“We must hit the ground running by ensuring that members of the party actively take part in the e-registration in line with the new electoral guidelines,” said a PDP chieftain.
