Mr Ayeni said the army was committed to sustaining pressure on criminal networks threatening peace and security across Imo and Anambra.
“We remain resolute in winning all land, air and maritime battles especially in the area of operation, the southeast.”
The exercise will be conducted from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily between September 5 and 7.
Some of the items recovered include one AK 47 rifle, two magazines, one police grenade launcher, two Baofeng communication radios and five mobile phones.
An army spokesman said the exercise would be conducted by the 82 Base Ammunition Depot, Enugu from May 14 to May 21.
