The residents appealed to the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) to ensure that the current load shedding is done fairly.
He claimed that selected areas like APC Quarters, Kaduna Road, and PDP Quarters in Suleja received a continuous supply of electricity for almost 24 hours.
The AEDC has promised that the transformer would be powered before the close of work on Monday.
“So, the government is stepping in and giving the DISCOS the meters to distribute for free.”
The company said that the interruption was to enable the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), to carry out maintenance on its Apo substation.
The plaintiffs had sought an order restraining the AGF, CBN, BPE and the ministry from interfering with AEDC’s operations and management.
The company said single phase unit and three-phase meter unit would be sold at N63,061.32 and N117,910.69 respectively.
