According to the vigilante, the attackers targeted shops and asked for specific individuals before abducting them.
Bandits have kidnapped a couple in Kwara after invading Lafiagi in the Edu LGA.
Mr Adekimi assured the public that criminals would not be allowed to operate freely in the state.
“Insecurity is a national problem, agreed. But the way and manner it is being addressed isn’t good enough,” Mr Rasheed stated.
He said the operation followed credible intelligence on the activities of hoodlums.
Mrs Ejire-Adeyemi said police operatives also carried out a rescue operation at Apata Aja settlement.
The police command in Kwara has raised the alarm over the proliferation of fraudulent schemes targeting point-of-sale operators.
Bandits launched a coordinated attack on the PMF Camp at Nuku village, and fatally shot five forest guards, the command spokesman said.
He urged members of the public to remain vigilant.
The suspected bandits, who were intercepted by troops during an operation in the area on Friday, have been taken into custody.
