An aggrieved customer has sued AEDC before the Lokoja High Court, demanding N50 million in general damages over wrong billing.
“The highest we have gotten in a month is N543 million and sometimes it dropped below N500 million.
AEDC) says it is working to restore power supply to Minna and environs after a windstorm damaged some of its equipment and installations.
“We would like to inform that we are aware of the unstable power supply, experienced in recent days.”

The blackout will be experienced between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, according to AEDC.
The AEDC had in a recent statement attributed the drop in power supply in its franchise areas to insufficient load allocation.
