Mr Omololu disagreed with the appointment of Mr Farotimi, describing the Fasoranti’s faction of Afenifere as the “authentic” group.
“The general meeting considered and approved the appointment of Barrister Dele Farotimi as the national organising secretary of the Afenifere,” it read.
Afenifere said the review should include accelerating actions on the decision of the government to have state police in the country.
Mr Adeleye said, “We are collaborating with other South-West Amotekun Corps to ensure we chase them away from our forests.’’
Afenifere noted the protest was a way for the citizens to vent their anger, adding that it was aware of the economic challenges in the country.
