Mr Oyebanji polled 140 votes, while the ADC candidate secured 37 votes out of 182 total valid votes cast at the polling unit.
The party chairman accused Mr Makinde-led administration of issuing mere statements.
The judge adjourned the matter until January 19, 2026, for commencement of trial.
“I’m a winner,” Ms Ifemeludike declared on Sunday. “Integrity stands firm and higher than political deception.”
