It expressed the view that the ADC should prioritise candidates capable of withstanding legal scrutiny to avoid post-election disputes.

The appellate court rescheduled the hearing to allow parties to file and exchange their briefs of argument before the substantive hearing.
Mr Asogwa polled 162,360 votes to defeat his closest rival, Nestor Ezeme of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Mr Oluyede polled 119 votes.
A total of 330 voters participated in the exercise at the polling unit.
Mr Aregbesola campaigned along Ado-Ikere Road, urging residents to vote for Mr Bejide to drive sustainable development in the state.
Mr Alagbe prayed the court to pronounce him as the authentic winner of the primary election.
Mr Mark said, “The ADC is not on trial. Rather, it is the judiciary that is on trial and the nation is waiting to see how the National Judicial Council will handle this situation.”
