The NSCDC spokesman said the suspects diverted, bagged, and sold the products to unsuspecting buyers and farmers at N25,900 per bag.
“I don’t lead from the back; I lead from the front. We will try, and we will do our best to provide leadership built on the foundation of your support,” he said.
Mr Namadi said the attacks on farmers by herders in the state over the years had affected farming.
“You must be on top of your game, be very vigilant and highly sensitive to your environment because we are not going to take any chances,” he said.
He said that the aim was to ensure peaceful transition of power in the state.
Mr Audi said they should provide the Corps with information on suspicious gatherings and apply control measures in such situations.

Mr Odumosu said that NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Audi, had urged the personnel to discharge their duties effectively during the festive period.
The Yobe NSCDC command has deployed 762 personnel to provide security and ensure a hitch-free Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Mr Audi stressed the need for officers and men of the corps to apply intelligent surveillance before embarking on road trips.
