According to the BYM spokesperson, the attacked village is located about five kilometres away from the NIPSS.
Mr Alabo said that the incident occured in the early hours of Tuesday.
Bandits attacked Gwon-Ajang village in Foron district, Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau, killing at least seven people. They raided the village on Sunday night.
He said 10 of the victims were killed inside their rooms, while one was killed outside while trying to escape.
The police command in Plateau has killed a suspected kidnapper and recovered an AK-47 rifle in Gindri, Mangu LGA.
Three others were injured in the explosion.
The victims Luka Sandu Pam, 36, Samuel Davou, 38, and Deme Saidu, 35, were reportedly attacked while returning from Gero on motorcycles.
Ms Ramnap reiterated the state government’s commitment to the security of lives and property of all citizens of the state.
“Most of these Yahoo Boys kill and harvest human parts for ritual purposes. They do that on the directive of their native doctors,” said the police.
The denial follows VeryDarkMan’s assertion that the police were investigating the hackers who allegedly stole N180 million from his NGO’s account.
