Farmers’ associations have commended the federal government on the inauguration of 10,000 agro rangers as they call for an increment in the number for the initiative to be impactful.
Mr Aminu said that the initiative was deployed during the last dry season wheat and rice farming in the state.
Under the scheme, the Federal Government subsidises dry-season wheat farming inputs by 50 per cent.
