The Airlines Operators of Nigeria has described the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals as a critical pillar of support for Nigeria’s aviation industry.
Allen Onyema, Air Peace’s chief, on Sunday stated that the newly introduced tax policies would inflate airfares and drive airlines out of business.
“What he is trying to do is the real restructuring of the country. Many Nigerians believe that restructuring is dividing the country along regional lines,” said Mr Onyema.

Mrs Eghagha’s arrest warrant was issued just as a superseded indictment was slammed against Mr Onyema, the Air Peace owner.
The couple will be meeting Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Lagos House in Marina.
“We are at a turning point in our economy. I do not have to do a quadratic equation to illustrate all of that to you,” the president said.
The airline previously announced the flight to London during its pre-launch forum in February.
“Tyre bursts occur now and then in the industry and have nothing to do with the airline’s safety standards.”
Air Peace travellers will now be able to fly to Mumbai through Lagos from Kano, Monrovia, Abuja, Accra, Port Harcourt, and Douala.
