He urged residents of Osun to promptly report any suspicious activities or security threats in their communities.
Mr Adeleye said the 39 suspects arrested were fleeing to Ondo State after the recent United States–backed military strike against ISIS terrorists in Northern Nigeria.
While details of the meeting are yet to be ascertained, it is believed that the growing security threats in the South-West will be part of their discussions.
The party expressed concerns over the spread of rural banditry, herder-related attacks.
The special operation, tagged “Operation Lewonjade,” covered key boundary points between Ondo, Ekiti, and Osun.
Police said that the attack on Akinlalu town was carried out by the Amotekun Corps in the state.
Residents of Akinlalu had accused operatives of Amotekun in Osun of killing three residents on September 30.
The HoS stated that the state had reviewed its civil service rules and policies to meet the public’s expectations.
Mr Adedigba revealed that Amotekun has now stationed its officers in every area of security concern across the state, including highways.
