According to her, five suspects have been apprehended in connection with the shipment.
Ms Mayegun said that acting on coordinated intelligence, FCID operatives apprehended the prime suspect.
The police said that the invitation followed a petition by T.C. Eze Chambers on behalf of Mr Egunjobi to the AIG, FCID Annex, on June 2.
The suspects hijacked and diverted the consignment to an unknown location.
Mayegun alleged that Mr Ibu’s son and the woman conspired and defrauded the actor of N50 million donated for his medical treatment.
Ms Mayegun said the suspects would be charged to court soon.
The AIG stressed that his visit served as a reminder to officers to ensure humane treatment and the fundamental rights of individuals in detention.
