Mr Obi noted that a state of emergency should first be imposed on Nigeria which also faces dire security challenges.
Mr Malami insists that the Stamp Duty Act mandates him to recover all stamp duty funds.
“Why should Malami receive a report of a committee he did not constitute? Malami and Akpabio are both ministers under Buhari.”
Mr Lawan was convicted of bribery for demanding gratification from Oil mogul Femi Otedola to extricate his company from fuel subsidy fraud.
The senator urged President Muhammadu Buhari to remove Mr Malami from office as the statements made are capable of derailing Nigeria’s unity.
