TRACE said 18 people lost their lives and 57 got injured in road accidents last November.
Mr Akinbiyi said the deceased were deposited at morgues at Sagamu and in a hospital, both in Ogun.
He said the witness accounts indicated that the driver of one of the vehicles was driving against traffic and got involved in a collision with the other.
Mr Akinbiyi explained that the accident occurred at 9:59 a.m. and was caused by a tyre burst.
He said the car with four church officials was coming from Oke-Iragbiji in Osun.
