The United Nations says the deal allowing Ukraine to export grain safely from its Black Sea ports despite Russia’s invasion has been extended.
Russia has ended its suspension of an agreement allowing the export of grain via Ukraine’s Black Sea ports, the Defence Ministry in Moscow says.
Since the start of the Russian invasion on February 24, there have been 13,560 civilian casualties, with 5,614 deaths, including 362 children and 7,946 people injured.
During his visit, the UN chief will stop by one of the three Ukrainian ports involved in the framework of the Black Sea Initiative to export wheat grain.
