The traffic management agency said its officials were attacked with dangerous weapons, including machetes, iron, broken bottles, and local charms.
The convict was arraigned by the agency on two-count charge of “conduct likely to cause breach of peace” and “impersonation.”
A commercial vehicle used for the robbery operation at the Lekki-Ajah area was also impounded and handed over to the state police.
The directive is to ensure free traffic following the FG’s partial closure of Eko Bridge to motorists for repairs.
Mr Oreagba said this was in view of the need to comply with the laws and regulations guiding the operation of all commercial vehicle operators.
LASTMA said it had concluded arrangements to enforce traffic laws on such recalcitrant bus drivers across the state.
The exercise followed the expiration of a seven-day removal notice to owners of such illegally parked and abandoned vehicles.
Owners/drivers of trucks, tankers and trailers illegally parked under the bridge have seven days to vacate the area.
LASTMA says it impounded 19 vehicles over indiscriminate and illegal parking on Lagos Island.
Mr Oreagba said there had been incidences of impersonation of LASTMA personnel by some unscrupulous members of the public in times past.
