Mr Zulum said the beneficiary households were drawn from two IDP camps – 197 from Kawar Maila camp and 250 from Dalori town.
The election campaign by parties is to commence from November 28 to January 18, 2024, and the election is scheduled for January 20.
“Certainly, we give President Muhammadu Buhari some credit on security issues, especially in the North East.
“Zulum’s directive follows the CBN’s policy on stoppage of old naira notes amid the absence of banking services across 25 out of Borno’s 27 LGAs.”
“I want to use this opportunity to call on the federal government to seek support from our neighbours, especially the republics of Chad, Cameroon and Niger.”
