The Lagos State Task Force chairman, Adetayo Akerele, says the agency has dislodged traders and commercial buses at the Ikotun BRT station.
He said the currency exchange and the lingering fuel situation had, no doubt, raised the tension in the land.
Mr Sanwo-Olu said the increase was to sustain the operations of regulated bus services in Lagos state.
Primero Transport Services Ltd., operator’s of the BRT, said the spike in diesel price had affected its operations negatively.

“Dear Lagosians, the life of every citizen of the state matters to us, and we do not take the security of our people for granted,” Mr Sanwo-Olu said.
“So I was thinking that she is inside the vehicle holding the iron. I moved on. I left her at that side; I never knew they dragged her out of the vehicle.”
The free bus commuter services would be offered to Lagosians on the Ikorodu to TBS, Oshodi to Abule Egba and Lagos Badagry Expressway BRT corridors.
