The state governor had earlier ordered that passengers of BRT buses will enjoy a 50 per cent slash due to cash scarcity.
He said in a statement issued by his media aide, Garba Shehu, that the accident was distressing and extremely sad.
Mr Oke-Osanyintolu said the accident could be attributed to brake failure, loss of control of the truck after crashing into a BRT demarcation and pedestrian bridge pillar.
Justice Sherifat Sonaike of the Tafawa Balewa Square Division of the Lagos State High Court, adjourned the matter till September 29.
