Mr Family said that the seized drugs included cannabis sativa, codeine, and exol-5, all of which were seized between July 30th to August 3rd.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted large drug consignments and arrested some suspects in several seizures made in Lagos and Abuja airports.
The NDLEA explained that the confesticated drugs included cocaine, cannabis sativa, tramadol and other illicit substances.
Suspects comprising 297 males and 33 females were arrested for dealing in various drug offences.
The defendants are Jelili Kamoru, 44, and Sodiq Oduola, 25, arrested on a tipoff at Akala in Mushin, Lagos.
“We will not accept that; we in NDLEA reject the move in totality,” NDLEA chief executive Buba Marwa said.
He pleaded guilty at arraignment on Monday.
The contrabands were intercepted by the Seme Area Command of Nigeria Customs, from January to August.
The suspects said they were contracted to transport the drugs from Ondo to Yola.
“The arrests were carried out between June 2020 and June 2021.”
